Since its establishment in 2020, Bagalwa Foundation has been dedicated to addressing humanitarian needs for local people in villages. Our Foundation initially specialized in aiding orphans and widows who have been affected by war in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo. However, as the demand for humanitarian relief has increased, we have expanded as a direct response organization to assist those most in need.
Our Hope Center strives to improve the lives of underprivileged widowed women and orphans by providing them with education, food, and shelter. Our aim is to break the cycle of poverty and give these women and children a chance to a better future. We believe in empowering women and children to become agents of change in their communities.
Our sustainable farming programs help farmers increase their yields, improve their livelihoods, and protect the environment. Your support can help us make a difference.
By improving families' access to nutritious food and increasing their incomes, we can prevent malnutrition and help children grow up healthy and strong.
This project is sponsored and supported by the Bagalwa Foundation. The goal is to produce and provide food, electricity and create jobs for people in the village in DR. Congo.
Hydropower, or hydroelectric power, is one of the oldest and largest sources of renewable energy, which uses the natural flow of moving water to generate electricity.
Armed groups have targeted schools, often burning school building, desks and chairs as firewood, leaving children without a safe space to learn. Bagalwa Foundation is helping people in the villages to rebuild schools and libraries.
One of the most important ways we can make our planet healthier, wealthier, and happier is to give clean water to those who need it.
Every day in rural communities throughout sub-Saharan Africa, millions of people suffer from a lack of access to clean, safe water.
Access to healthcare services is a basic right that every human deserves. Yet, millions of Congolese continue to struggle to find access to basic services and education on health. Giving access to health services for women and children in the village provides early detection, prevention, and intervention.
