Millions of people in Africa live in extreme poverty without access to safe drinking water and reliable sources of food.
Our goal is to uphold the fundamental human right of access to clean and safe water for everyone. We recognize that water is essential for life and well-being, but many people around the world face barriers to this right due to various factors such as natural disasters, conflict, poverty, and social circumstances. Our aim is to significantly reduce the mortality rate caused by water contamination and unsanitary conditions.
We create and utilize small rivers to deliver water to local communities, ensuring easy access to clean, sustainable water resource for years to come. Bagalwa Foundation trains the communities we serve on how to use resources to achieve proper sanitary conditions. We also equip mechanics with the skills to perform repairs, which enhances the community’s preparedness for emergencies. Water is distributed from the source through large underground pipes to people’s houses.
Our work involves building large-scale water infrastructure projects that provide direct access to safe water and sanitation for thousands of people in conflict-affected countries. We also empower the communities we serve by training them on how to use resources to achieve proper sanitary conditions.
